LOT.103 WORK SHIRT P/O

An inspiration from the 1910s work shirt discovered in Ohio. From chin straps, pen-holder pockets and wide front placket to the straight silhouette without shoulder slope, the design retains as much details of the era as possible.
The body was made wider and the length was shortened so as to make it easy to wear without a stress.
The brand's original fabric is the result of research into a discovery in California – a jacquard shirt by PIONEER, a brand from Montgomery Ward in the 1930s. Using slub yarn made primarily from U.S. cotton and woven on an old-style power loom, the fabric is finished with degreasing washer processing to achieve oilless dryness of an aged fabric.
MUD DYED BROWN is carefully dyed one by one using "mud dye" , the traditional dyeing technique of Amami Oshima Island. None of them look the same, as all of them are one of a kind.
BLACK uses a yarn-dyed fabric woven from yarns treated with sulfur dye that offers a vintage-like fade as it ages.
