LOT.408 CHIN STRAP COAT

This coat is based on the Balmacan coat of the 1910s. It is characterized by a chinstrap that fastens around the neck to prevent rain and wind from entering, and by a deep semi-double beating. The chinstrap is the same width as the collar. The raglan sleeve pattern also features a wide range of motion. Since a heavy melton fabric was used, the length was shortened to the knee level so that the garment would not be too heavy and would be easy to slip on and off. A double-weave melton fabric with a high Shetland wool blend is used, with twisted yarns used in both the warp and weft. MIX BEIGE and MIX BROWN are made by twisting two colors together in the warp and weft, creating a complex color palette with originality.
Original nut buttons are used for the buttons.
